Kimberly
Hicks is a certified instructor, teaching for over 10 ears, a
Certified Childbirth Educator (CCE), Certified Lactation Educator
(CLE) and Certified Perinatal Fitness Educator (CPFE). As a mother of
four she has an understanding of the needs and concerns of the
expecting mother. She has exercised while pregnant with all four of
her children and has seen the many benefits that exercising has.
She
has competed in many 5k races while pregnant and amazingly came in
first place in her age division when she was six months pregnant. She
also teaches indoor cycling and has had the pleasure of teaching up
until the day of delivery.
As an instructor, mom and pregnant
exerciser she got asked from other expectant woman questions about
exercising while pregnant. It wasn't until a few years ago that she
thought to add to her background Perinatal Fitness to help the many
women that may think they have to take it "easy" because they are
pregnant. Pregnancy is a time to enjoy the wonderful changes that our
body goes through to grow beautiful babies.
She looks forward to working with you and helping you stay cardio fit through this wonderful time in your lives!
